Kucharski about the beginning of the conflict with Lewandowski. “Robert no longer likes it”

Then his colleagues, who were working for me at the time, started digging holes below me. It kept growing, he said.

– I was an opponent of many of Robert’s business activities, because I thought that there was no point in focusing on small things, since the biggest revenues come from big ones. And you had to focus on them, ‘he continued.

Kucharski then drew attention to an aspect that, in his opinion, was decisive in the context of Lewandowski’s defeat in the Golden Ball plebiscite. – I should probably be what the readers expect and say Lewandowski. I think he would have received this award if he had been persuaded to work on his PR all over the world many years ago. Unfortunately, in my opinion, he lost a little at his own request to Messi – he said.

The former agent of the captain of the Polish national team also admitted that he recommended him to change his behavior in this aspect. – He is a brilliant footballer, recognizable in every corner of the world and liked by journalists. In the case of Lewandowski, this is missing and his goals this season were, in my opinion, too little exposed. I remember urging him to give interviews to major newspapers all over the world, but there was trouble with that. And it seems to me that he lost because of it – he added.

“Lewandowski should win”

Later in the interview, Kucharski admitted that decisions related to the “Lewego” brand were also decisive. – There was also no support from his partners. When we parted, you journalists wrote that it was a global brand. And later it turned out that this global brand resigned from the contract with Nike, and in 2018 it did the same with a great global company, i.e. Coca Cola, for the Polish brand of drinks, which missed the chance for Robert Lewandowski to be the face of the World Cup in Russia. Someone convinced him that this Polish brand will be the second Coca Cola – he admitted.

Kucharski also referred to another plebiscite in which the 33-year-old turned out to be worse than his rival. – Robert Lewandowski should have won, but he lost at his own request. Similarly to the Sportsman of the Year in Poland, when he overtook him on the final straight, because at the decisive moment his camp lacked PR activities – he concluded.
