Barcelona SC and Emelec once again showed that their rivalry is only on the field, but off it are two institutions that care about the well-being of Ecuador.
Due to the strong criminal crisis that the country is going through, both institutions have decided to support the Ecuadorian armed forces that have taken to the streets of Guayaquil to protect the integrity of the citizens.
The actions of both the police and the army were recognized throughout the country, so the personnel from the Shipyard did not want to be left behind.
JosΓ© Pileggi and Antonio Alvarez Henriques, presidents of the blue and yellow cadres, respectively, distributed boxes of food in the Samanes Park to members of the order who worked in that sector.
