Mexican actor Adan Canto, with a notable appearance in series such as Marked as a survivor and drug addict, he died at the age of 42.
Canto died on Monday, January 8, of appendicitis.
The Mexican, who also participated in one of the films of the X-Men saga, recently appeared in the series The Cleaner, whose third season is about to be released. During his acting life, he participated in many American series and films, which is why he also acted with Mel Gibson.
Canto’s breakout role was Aaron Shore in Designated Survivor, which aired on the US network ABC between 2016 and 2017 before being picked up by Netflix for a third and final season.
In an emotional video posted on the late actor’s Instagram account, he is seen singing the guitar while his two young children look on, while his wife plays the piano. In the same account, his wife wrote a heartfelt tribute to the actor.
The actor is married to actress Stephanie Ann and they are the parents of Roman Alder, 3 and a half years old, and Eva Josephine, 1 and a half years old.
Although he was Mexican, the actor grew up between both cultures. “When I was little I went to school in Texas and then I came back to my hometown. It is very nice to have the privilege of understanding two cultures”, he once said in an interview with the EFE agency.
