American scientists have discovered a tendency to drink among fitness enthusiasts. The study results are available on PubMed.
A treadmill test was used to compare healthy people with different levels of alcohol consumption. In total, more than 38 thousand people took part in the study.
The study found that higher levels of physical fitness were significantly associated with higher alcohol consumption among a large group of adult patients. The indicators were the same for both men and women.
