Gleb Chistyakov, the agent of Russian forward and captain of the Washington Capitals Alexander Ovechkin, disclosed information about the hockey player’s health. His words are quoted by Sport24.
“As I already said, I don’t comment on the nature of the damage. But everything is fine with him,” said Chistyakov. He added that Ovechkin plans to play in the next match of the capital club.
Earlier, Washington head coach Spencer Carbery said that Ovechkin missed the team’s last two practices. He explained that the player was injured in the match on January 7th.
In the next match, Washington will play against the Seattle Kraken on January 12. The capital team has 44 points and is in tenth place in the Eastern Conference standings of the National Hockey League.
