Coach Andrei Tikhonov headed the First League club “Yenisei”
The legend of Moscow “Spartak” Andrei Tikhonov headed the Russian football club “Yenisei”. This was reported in the team’s Telegram channel.
The club thanked the coach for his cooperation and wished him good luck. Tikhonov already worked at the club in the 2016/2017 season, under his leadership the team became third in the Football National League (FNL).
At the moment, Enisey is in tenth place in the First League, gaining 24 points in 20 matches. Dynamo Makhachkala is in the lead with 37 points.
Tikhonov played for Spartak as a player from 1992 to 2000 and was the team captain. The midfielder also played for Krylya Sovetov Samara, Khimki near Moscow, Maccabi Tel Aviv and Lokomotiv Astana. In 2011, Tikhonov returned to Spartak as a player-coach and played one match for the team.
