Evenepoel confirms its presence for the first time in the Tour de France

The Belgian cyclist Remco Evenepoel confirmed this Tuesday its presence, for the first time, in the 2024 Tour de Franceduring the presentation in Calpe (Alicante) of his team, the Soudal Quick-Step.
“I will race a lot in France in the coming months and I hope to achieve more good results and a good debut in the Tour,” he stressed in statements released by the team.
The Basque joins the team from Bahrain-Victorious Mikel Landaone of the best climbers on the World Tour.
“Coming to this team has motivated me, and I can’t wait to get things started in a couple of weeks. I want to use my experience in grand tours to help the team and Remco, as I really believe I can contribute to the overall success,” said Landa .
