He Athletic achieved the ticket for the round of 16 of the Copa del Rey in Ipurua by beat Eibar 0-3 thanks to a tremendous strike and with added vindication from important players such as Iker Muniain, who scored a great goal, Asier Villalibre, who added two goals, and goalkeeper Julen Agirrezabala.

The ‘Búfalo’ of Gernika opened and closed the final 0-3 with two pure goals from a center forward, the first from an opportunistic second with fortune, and in between Muniain scored one of the best goals of the season in its gestation and execution. The gestation was a ride overcoming the different entries of the rivals, and the execution was a shot with the left foot and around the corner.

Today is the fourth consecutive victory, the second away from home, for an Athletic that has now reached 12 games in a row without losing. Of them, nine wins and three in the Cup.

The ‘lions’ began bossily, as if wanting to impose their splendid form from the beginning. But, curiously, The first occasion was local, with Julen Bautista who was left alone against Agirrezabala, who pulled out a providential hand.

Athletic, however, did not forgive. Every time he approached Yoel’s goal with danger he scored a goal. The first a start from Nico Williams by the band, served by Vivian, who Villalibre made it 1-0 with a shot at will in the small area.
