Swimmer Andrei Minakov called Russia safer than the West
Three-time World Swimming Championship medalist Andrei Minakov compared Russia with Western countries in terms of safety. His words are quoted by RIA Novosti.
According to the Russian, his homeland wins in this indicator: “Both the West and America are very, very dirty, there are a lot of emigrants. These are no longer the countries that were 10 years ago. Russia is ahead in terms of safety and comfort. I can say that now in the West, especially in America, the Russia of the 90s is happening,” said Minakov, who was born in 2002.
On December 29, Rodnina compared the level of comfort of life in Moscow and New York. She stated that at the moment Moscow is a much better place to live than New York.
Minakov won two silvers and a bronze at the 2019 World Championships in Gwangju. He is also a two-time world short course champion and European champion.
