Brazilian footballer Nino, who was interested in Zenit, did not want to play in Russia
St. Petersburg Zenit is interested in signing Brazilian football player Nino. Journalist Victor Lesso reported this on the social network X.
According to the source, the 26-year-old Fluminense defender did not want to play in Russia and was waiting for an offer from England, which did not arrive. It is noted that between the Brazilian and the Russian club there is already a verbal agreement on a contract, the amount of which will be about five million euros.
Lesso also said that in 2022 Nino received an offer from Ukraine. However, the player refused a contract worth six million euros.
This season, Nino played only two matches without scoring any goals. In the 2022/2023 season, he played 55 matches for Fluminense, scored five goals and provided two assists. His contract with the club runs until December 31, 2024.
