Footballer Lucas Beraldo, who was interested in Zenit, signed a contract with PSG

20-year-old defender of the youth national team of Brazil and Sao Paulo Lucas Beraldo moved to PSG. The official website of the Parisian club reports this.

Previously, according to Brazilian media, Zenit St. Petersburg was interested in Lucas Beraldo and offered Sao Paulo 18 million euros, but was refused. According to unofficial information, PSG paid 20 million euros for the defender. The contract with the football player is for 5.5 years. In the French capital, Berardo will wear number 35.

Since 2020, Lucas has played for Sao Paulo. He played 52 matches for the main team and scored 1 goal. In September 2023, the defender won the first trophy of his career, winning the Brazilian Cup.

On December 23, it became known that Zenit could be left without another Brazilian. Defender Robert Renan, who is currently defending the colors of the St. Petersburg club, wants to rent from Real Madrid. According to the Spanish publication AS, he fits Real Madrid’s key search criteria: Renan is left-handed, young and inexpensive. The Transfermarkt portal estimates the Brazilian’s value at nine million euros.
