43-year-old Russian hockey player Tereshchenko announced his readiness to resume his career
Three-time world champion in hockey as part of the Russian national team, Alexey Tereshchenko, announced his readiness to resume his playing career. His words are quoted by “Sport Day by Day”.
He noted that he keeps himself in shape. “If my native Dynamo approached me, I would try myself. We need agreements,” said the 43-year-old ex-forward.
Tereshchenko also appreciated the decision to resume the career of 50-year-old goalkeeper Nikolai Khabibulin. “Nikolai – well done! That’s how it should be. They are making a real performance. Just wow. Of course it’s a show. I don’t even want to discuss this again. It’s funny,” said Tereshchenko.
Tereshchenko won the world championship in 2008, 2009 and 2012. In 2010, as a member of Ak Bars, he won the Gagarin Cup. The forward’s last club was Avangard, which he left in 2020.
