Further changes in TVP. A well-known program will go off the air, part of the team will lose their jobs

The Wirtualne Media portal reported that the well-known program broadcast by TVP1 will be permanently taken off the air. The decision was to be made by the new management of the television station.

“When people are wronged and officials juggle human fate, when justice cannot be found in the courts, then the reporters of ‘Alarm!’ step into action. A reporter’s program of the TV channel One, which features journalistic interventions, investigations, stories about real problems in Poland and Poles.” – reads the description of a well-known program. “Alarm!” was broadcast on TV One from Monday to Saturday at 8:10 p.m. Now this is about to change.

After the change of authorities in Polish Television, “Alarm!” disappeared from the schedule. Like the Wirtualne Media website, the format will not return to TVP1, and part of the team that created it will resign from their positions. The presenters of the format were Agnieszka Oszczyk, Jacek Łęski and Urszula Rogala.

“Alarm!” Apart from telling “stories about the real problems of Polish women and men”, he has also written several disgraceful materials. The authors of one of them were sued by Monika Olejnik, one of the heroines of the reportage. The episode reported on the unclear circumstances of the reprivatization of a tenement house in Warsaw, in which the apartments were bought by famous journalists, Edward Miszczak and Anja Rubik – all associated with the TVN station at that time. The court agreed with Olejnik and ordered TVP to apologize and pay PLN 25,000 to charities.

In addition to Monika Olejnik, the trial with TVP regarding materials prepared for the “Alarm!” program Judge Piotr Gąciarek also won. In the format, he was accused of manipulation and irregularities in passing judgments, and details of his private life were revealed. By the court’s decision, an apology had to appear on TVP.

Archived episodes of the program can still be watched via TVP VOD. The Wirtualne Media portal reports that there are no plans to replace “Alarm!” for now. similar format.
