Figure skater Kostomarov and his wife Domnina showed a dance from the series “The Boy’s Word”
Olympic champion in ice dancing Roman Kostomarov and his wife Oksana Domnina showed a dance from the series “The Boy’s Word: Blood on the Asphalt.” The video is available on the athlete’s Telegram channel.
“We keep up with the times with my relatives,” wrote Kostomarov. In the video, the former figure skater dances with his wife to the song “Gray Night” by the group “Tender May.”
In January, Kostomarov was hospitalized with pneumonia and influenza B. Due to prolonged connection to a blood oxygenation machine and a ventilator, his tissue began to die. Doctors amputated both feet of the skater, then the shins of both legs, the entire hand of his right hand and several fingers of his left. Later, he was fitted with prosthetic legs and right arm.
After the installation of prostheses, Kostomarov continued to actively engage in sports. On December 17, he took to the ice on skates and showed a joint performance with Tatyana Navka.
