Mishina and Gallyamov won the Russian championship among sports couples
Anastasia Mishina and Alexander Gallyamov won the Russian figure skating championship among sports pairs. This was reported by a Lenta.ru correspondent.
Tamara Moskvina’s students scored 244.85 points for two programs. The silver medalists were Alexandra Boykova and Dmitry Kozlovsky, who received 236.32 points from the judges. The top three were completed by Ekaterina Chikmareva and Matvey Yanchenkov (227, 97 points).
For Mishina and Gallyamov this is the second victory at the national championships. They previously won the 2022 tournament.
Mishina and Gallyamov are world and European champions. The couple also won bronze medals at the Beijing Olympics in the individual competition.
On March 1, 2022, the International Skating Union (ISU) banned Russians and Belarusians from participating in competitions under its auspices. Due to sanctions, skaters were unable to take part in the World and European Championships, as well as other international tournaments.
