For several weeks there has been talk of interest in Na’Vi Junior star Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov from G2 Esports. The young Russian is one of the greatest sensations of the CS: GO scene and over the last few months he has managed to make a name for himself.
m0NESY getting closer to G2?
Moreover, Natus Vincere itself, according to reports from foreign journalists, put a young player up for sale. Last week, however, the most popular professional CS portal in the world – HLTV – added fuel to the fire. According to him, G2 Esports has already finalized the m0NESY transfer and is currently waiting only for an official announcement.
We can wait a little longer for that, as G2 is currently taking part in the last major tournament in 2021 – the BLAST Premier World Final. This year’s G2 squad joined the game at the Danish BLASTA studio. No wonder that the organization is waiting for the end of all the games before the official release of the reshuffle.
New sniper in formation target
Moreover, during the pre-event interviews, some G2 players somehow confirmed the changes. We are talking here about NiKo, who talked to the aforementioned HLTV portal. – Acquiring a sniper the next year will allow us to take the next step. If we are a sniper who will generate good statistics and do a good job, we will become a really strong team – said NiKo.
The BLAST Premier World Final 2021 itself is to be crowned next Sunday, December 19. So it is highly likely that during the Christmas break, or just after the new year, we will hear more about new G2 Esports arrivals.
