Director Afonchikov considered Zagitova’s work as a TV presenter weak
Theater director and acting teacher Igor Afonchikov appreciated the work of Olympic figure skating champion Alina Zagitova as a TV presenter. His words are quoted by Sport24.
“She urgently needs someone who will take care of her. Now she is showing very weak work, it looks very weak. Those who are now working with Zagitova in media and acting are simply ruining her,” said Afonchikov.
According to him, the skater has data that can be exploited. “Zagitova has very big clamps and blockages, she doesn’t want to show her feelings at all. She needs a good specialist who can reveal her,” the director noted.
Zagitova suspended her performances in December 2019. She works as a presenter in the television show “Ice Age” and studies at the Faculty of Journalism of the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA).
