Coach Shulga said that using a fitness corset does not affect weight loss
Trainer Ksenia Shulga appreciated the benefits of fitness corsets. Her words are quoted by Sportmaster Media.
The specialist explained that using a corset cannot affect weight loss and reduce the amount of fat. “A fitness corset should only be used in exercises with critical weights, when there is a real risk that the abdominal muscles will not withstand the load. In other exercises, the abdominal area should be free,” she noted.
Shulga added that corsets can be dangerous. According to the trainer, their frequent use can lead to decreased tone of the abdominal muscles, as well as breathing problems.
Previously, doctors and scientists evaluated the benefits of exercise slippers for weight loss. Experts have come to the conclusion that such shoes are ineffective due to the small involvement of muscle groups. In addition, using slippers may cause injury.
