MMA fighter Peter Yang will meet with Chinese Song Yadong at UFC 299
President of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Dana White has named the next opponent of the Russian mixed style fighter (MMA) Petr Yan. This became known in X promotion.
The athlete will meet with Chinese representative Song Yadong as part of the 299th UFC tournament. The tournament will take place on March 9, 2024. In the main event of the evening, Sean O’Malley and Marlon Vera will fight for the bantamweight belt.
Yan spent his last fight in the UFC in March of this year at the UFC Fight Night 221 tournament, where he lost to Georgian Merab Dvalishvili by unanimous decision. In his two previous fights, he lost by split decision to Americans Sean O’Malley and Aljamain Sterling.
In total, the athlete won 17 victories with five defeats in fights according to MMA rules. Yang is a former UFC bantamweight champion.
