The coach gave advice to newcomers to the skating rink

Coach and teacher of the sports school for winter sports Elizaveta Gorelova gave advice to newcomers who came to the skating rink. Her words are quoted by Volgograd-TRV.

The specialist advised to pay special attention to equipment. According to her, skates should be chosen only by size, they should secure the ankle tightly, and clothing should not restrict movement. “Before you start skating, you should definitely warm up. Simple exercises will warm up the muscles and help avoid serious injuries,” added Gorelova.

The coach also reminded about safety rules at the skating rink. “We don’t speed up, don’t push, keep our distance and treat everyone present with respect,” Gorelova emphasized.

Earlier, Russian figure skater Alexandra Trusova compared the difficulty of hockey and figure skating. According to her, playing with the puck is more difficult.
