The president of the Petroperú board of directors, Pedro Chira, had announced this week to La República that the corporate governance agreements for the restructuring of the company were successfully adopted. The two outgoing independent directors were chosen at the time by the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF).
For this reason, the replacements for Olivares Canchari and Bencich Aguilar will be the first in this new stage for the company who will be chosen by competition “in a planned period of between two and three months”, in compliance with DU 023-2022.
