All participants in the playoffs of the Europa League for the 2023/2024 season have been determined. This is reported by the Lenta.ru correspondent.
The matches of the final, sixth round of the group stage took place on Thursday, December 14. The first places in the groups were taken by Liverpool, West Ham, Brighton, Rangers, Atalanta, Villarreal, Slavia and Bayer Leverkusen. They directly qualified for the 1/8 finals.
In the play-offs for the right to play in the 1/8 finals, Freiburg, Marseille, Sparta, Sporting, Toulouse, Rennes, Roma and Qarabag, who took second place in the groups, will meet Europa League, as well as Galatasaray, Lens, Braga, Benfica, Feyenoord, Milan, Young Boys and Shakhtar, who finished third in the Champions League groups.
The draw for the Europa League playoffs will take place on December 18 in Nyon, Switzerland. The ceremony will begin at 15:00 Moscow time. The current title holder is Sevilla.
