Biathletes Gerbulova and Noskova criticized the living conditions at the hotel in Ufa
Russian biathletes Natalya Gerbulova and Ekaterina Noskova criticized the living conditions at the second stage of the Commonwealth Cup in Ufa. They showed the condition of the hotel in their Telegram channel.
The athletes complained that there were holes in the wall in the bathroom after the renovation. The biathletes also noted that there was a lot of dust in the room. “We are very glad that renovations are being done in Ufa, but why during the competition, which everyone knew about in advance?” – they were indignant.
In another room of the hotel where biathletes from the Krasnoyarsk Territory live, problems were also discovered: there is no curtain in the shower, there is no seat on the toilet, and water from the tap flows past the sink.
Russians do not participate in tournaments by decision of the International Biathlon Union (IBU). The order took effect in March 2022 and will remain in effect until further notice.
