Former heavyweight boxer, State Duma deputy Nikolai Valuev reacted to the story of the Russian mixed style (MMA) fighter Khabib Nurmagomedov, who joked about rewarding the passenger of the metro station beaten by Dagestanis. Reported by Metaratings.
Valuev condemned the publication of the 33-year-old fighter. “Would a sane person shield those who behaved like animals? I doubt it very much. I have a different opinion about Khabib, ”the parliamentarian said.
Earlier on October 13, Nurmagomedov jokingly reacted to the news that the head of the Investigative Committee, Alexander Bastrykin, rewarded the victim of the attack in the capital’s metro. The Russian posted a photo of his former rival Conor McGregor with the caption: “Where is my medal from Bastrykin? I was also beaten by a crowd of Dagestanis ”.
On October 11, Bastrykin presented the Valor and Courage medal to Roman Kovalev, a victim of an attack in the Moscow metro. The head of the Investigative Committee noted that Kovalev showed courage and indifference, interceding for the girl.
On October 4, three Dagestanis beat a 25-year-old Moscow metro passenger who stood up for the girl. The intruders were detained. The victim was admitted to the hospital with fractures of the nose and orbit of the eye. Three criminal cases were initiated against the detainees: attempted murder, the use of violence against a government official and hooliganism.
