Former Dynamo coach Silkin called the referee of the RPL match with Fakel a whistler
Former head coach of Dynamo Moscow Sergei Silkin criticized the referee of the match of the 18th round of the Russian Premier League (RPL) with Voronezh Fakel Rafael Shafeev. His words are quoted by RIA Novosti.
The specialist called the referee a whistler. “It’s a shame that we have such judges and commentators. How can you give such penalties? The team flies, spends money, goes on the field,” he said. Silkin added that Dynamo undeservedly lost points.
On December 10, Dynamo missed the victory over Fakel. The meeting took place in Voronezh and ended in a draw with a score of 1:1. The first to hit the opponents’ goal was Muscovites striker Yaroslav Gladyshev. Forward Maxim Maximov saved the hosts from defeat by converting a penalty in the 79th minute.
Dynamo is in third place in the standings with 32 points. Fakel has 21 points and is in 11th place in the table.
