Brazilian football player “Ural” Italo said that he was breathing heavily in the RPL match in the cold
Brazilian defender of Ural Yekaterinburg Italo appreciated the game in frosty weather in Russia. His words are quoted by Sport24.
The footballer said that the conditions of the match of the 18th round of the Russian Premier League against Lokomotiv were unusual for him, as it was difficult for him to breathe and control his body. He emphasized that he does not warm himself with vodka, since he does not drink alcohol. “It’s even colder here in the Urals, so I’m slowly getting used to the Russian frosts,” Italo added.
The meeting between Lokomotiv and Ural took place in Moscow on December 8 and ended with a score of 1:0 in favor of the hosts. A control temperature measurement at the RZD Arena stadium an hour before the start of the match showed 12 degrees below zero.
Italo moved to Ural on July 7, 2023 on loan from the Portuguese club Santa Clara. The agreement is valid until the end of the 2023/2024 season with the right to buy. Before that, he played for Brazilian teams.
