UFC commentator Joe Rogan accused Conor McGregor of doping
American actor, stand-up comedian and Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) commentator Joe Rogan accused former promotion champion Conor McGregor of doping on his podcast.
The American noted that he is 100 percent confident in the Irish MMA fighter’s use of prohibited substances to recover from a leg injury. “This was the only way, you never recover from this on your own,” Rogan said, noting that he supports the use of doping in such situations.
McGregor had his last fight in the summer of 2021, losing to American Dustin Poirier by technical knockout. The Irishman suffered a broken leg.
McGregor, 35, is a former UFC lightweight and featherweight champion. In total, the Irishman has 28 fights, in which he won 22 victories and suffered six defeats. On December 5, American MMA fighter Michael Chandler said that he would definitely fight the Irishman. He emphasized that the fight will take place in 2024, but its location is unknown.
