Paris NN midfielder Maiga said that he does not understand those who scold Russia

Paris Nizhny Novgorod midfielder Mamadou Maiga assessed the level of security in Russia. His words are quoted by Sport Express.

The naturalized Malian said that he does not understand those who scold Russia. “I often see people writing bad things about Russia on the Internet, saying that it’s dangerous here. But I live here and I know that people in Russia are very kind. I am for Russia! My family is here, I live here, I am a patriot,” said the African.

In the current season of the Russian Premier League, Maiga played 15 matches without scoring any goals. Maiga moved to Paris NN in June 2022. He received Russian citizenship in November 2021.

Earlier, Orenburg player Lucas Vera spoke about life in Russia. “I live here comfortably and calmly. The main difference is safety, everything is related to this. In Argentina, you can’t go out after 20:00,” he shared.
