UFC offered former champion Ronda Rousey $15 million to fight
The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has offered former promotion champion American Ronda Rousey $15 million for her third fight against compatriot Miesha Tate. This was reported by The Sports Rush.
If an agreement can be reached with the athletes, the fight could take place at the UFC 300 tournament. It is scheduled for April 2024 in Las Vegas (USA). Rousey dated Tate twice. The battles took place in 2012 and 2013. In both cases, Rousey won by submission.
Tate last fought in the UFC on December 2. The American won by choke against Julia Avila. In 2016, she was the promotion’s bantamweight champion.
Rousey has not competed in the UFC since 2016. In her last fight, she lost to Amanda Nunis and lost the organization’s bantamweight champion belt.
