Lokomotiv coach Galaktionov was disqualified for obscene remarks
The head coach of Lokomotiv Moscow, Mikhail Galaktionov, has been suspended for two matches. This decision was made by the Control and Disciplinary Committee (CDC) of the Russian Football Union (RFU), Sport-Express reports.
Thus, Galaktionov will miss the two remaining Russian Championship matches for the railway workers this year. On December 3, Muscovites will play with Zenit, and on the 12th they will meet with Ural.
The reason for the punishment was the specialist’s statement after the 16th round match of the Russian Premier League (RPL) against Krylia Sovetov. Galaktionov praised the work of the match referees with an obscene phrase.
The meeting took place on November 25 and ended with a score of 3:3. Krylia Sovetov saved themselves from defeat thanks to a penalty goal in stoppage time.
