Jaros³aw Mikulski died after a long illness at the age of only 52. His greatest fame came from his appearances in the “Bar VIP” program. For some time he was also the vocalist of the reactivated band Boys from Plac Broni.

Information about the musician’s death was first reported by “Przegląd Lokalny” in Knurów. He gained wider recognition thanks to his participation in the reality show “Bar VIP” and a short episode in Chłopcy z Plac Broni. He was an extremely original character. The artist took part in the above-mentioned program in 2005 and quickly gained the sympathy of viewers. Apart from character, he also exuded a lot of empathy. “I try to bring out the good in myself and I am constantly looking for it in myself, because everyone has a good essence, but is also burdened with various bad things. You just have to try to develop this good,” he said in the Polsat program.

There he was also noticed by Franz Dreadhunter (including Püdelsi, Tilt), who suggested that he, along with other artists, join the reactivated Boys from Plac Broni. Mikulski agreed and, together with the musicians, performed at the Jedynki Festival in Sopot in 2005.

Jarosław Mikulski, apart from his media activities, was also known for his curiosity about people. He was the co-author of many books on therapy and a certified regression trainer. He was also not afraid to tackle difficult topics and talk about the behind-the-scenes of fame. He wrote on his private blog after his participation in “Bar VIP”: “From time to time, our flaws and “bad” behavior were shown and exaggerated in a suggestive way – in order to create some controversy and to attract viewers to the program… And yet it was obvious, that no participant is ideal.

The 6th edition of the reality show took place on Polsat. In addition to ordinary participants, it was also attended by people associated with Polish show business, usually children of more famous parents. These included: Sebastian Riedel (son of Rysiek Riedel from Dżem), Piotr and Wojciech Cugowski and Doda, who co-founded the Virgin band at that time.
