Oleg Taktarov said that life is hard for Ukrainian boxer Alexander Usik
Mixed style fighter (MMA) and film actor Oleg Taktarov spoke about his conversation with Ukrainian boxer Alexander Usik. His words are quoted by RIA Novosti.
Taktarov said that he still communicates with the Ukrainian, and his last conversation was remembered by him for the personal confessions of the athlete. “Life is very difficult for a person. How he tries to please everyone, and most importantly, to save his family. And this is not easy,” admitted Taktarov.
On February 17, 2024, Usik is scheduled to fight for the title of absolute world heavyweight champion against Briton Tyson Fury. The Ukrainian has 21 victories in 21 fights. He holds the World Boxing Organization (WBO), IBF, International Boxing Organization (IBO) and WBA Super heavyweight championship belts.
Usik is a native of Simferopol. He opposed the special operation in Ukraine. In June 2023, the athlete said that he would not fight with the Russians.
