FFKKR: figure skaters Morozov and Eremenko will continue cooperation with coach Krylova
The Russian Figure Skating Federation (FFKKR) appreciated the information that Russian figure skaters Annabel Morozov and Igor Eremenko want to change their sports citizenship. This is reported on the organization’s website.
The FFKKR stated that the couple intends to continue cooperation with coach Anzhelika Krylova. According to their information, the athletes left for the United States so that Morozov could undergo a rehabilitation course of treatment after an injury received at the Russian Grand Prix stage in Krasnoyarsk. It is noted that the duo plans to train in the country only temporarily.
On November 29, it became known that the duo had been considering the option of joining the French national team for six months. According to RIA Novosti, the skaters will train in the USA under the guidance of their partner’s father, coach and choreographer Nikolai Morozov.
Morozov, 22, has Russian, French and American citizenship. She has been performing with Eremenko since February 2023.
