Honored Coach of the USSR Tatyana Tarasova appreciated the desire of Russian figure skaters Annabel Morozov and Igor Eremenko to change their sports citizenship. Her words are quoted by Match TV.
Tarasova called the dance couple’s desire to perform for France logical. “I heard that they want to move. They should have done this a long time ago. But it’s a pity to lose such a couple,” the specialist noted.
Earlier on November 29, it became known that the duo had been considering the option of joining the French national team for six months. According to RIA Novosti, the skaters will train in the USA under the guidance of their partner’s father, coach and choreographer Nikolai Morozov.
Morozov, 22, has Russian, French and American citizenship. She has been performing with Eremenko since February 2023.
