Away from the field for over a month due to heart problems, Sergio Aguero could announce his retirement from football next Wednesday, according to the The newspaper.
The forward suffered an arrhythmia in the duel between Barcelona and Alavés, on October 30th. On that occasion, the player had to be removed from the field and submitted to exams.
There was an expectation that the Argentine would be able to recover. However, at age 33, he could put an end to his career.
Aguero was signed by the Catalans in the last transfer window and signed a contract valid for two seasons after the end of his relationship with Manchester City. For the Spanish club, there were only five games and one goal, playing for 165 minutes.
According to the newspaper, Barça is already preparing a farewell for the athlete and should make the announcement soon.
