Al-Nasr and Portugal national team forward Cristiano Ronaldo took second place. The third was the former footballer of the Spanish national team and Barcelona, Andres Iniesta. Fourth place was taken by midfielder Xavi, currently leading the Catalans. The fifth was the former midfielder of the Brazilian national team and Barcelona, Ronaldinho.
Messi is an eight-time Ballon d’Or winner. As a member of Barcelona, he became the champion of Spain ten times and won the Champions League four times. With the Argentina national team, the forward became the world champion.
