David Beckham calls Lionel Messi the most humble superstar
Former England midfielder and Inter Miami owner David Beckham spoke about the team’s striker Lionel Messi. The Times reports this.
The functionary called the Argentine the most modest superstar. “Anyone who has seen him live knows that he is different, special. People said he might need time to adjust. But it took him a matter of seconds,” Beckham said.
The Englishman also praised Messi’s performance at Inter. “Leo gives people moments they will never forget. And that’s what American audiences love—to be entertained,” Beckham said.
36-year-old Messi joined the Inter Miami squad on July 15. His contract with the club runs until the end of the 2024/2025 season. As part of the team, he won the League Cup.
