309 athletes and coaches who left Ukraine after February 24, 2022 have not returned to the country. This number was named by the “League”.
According to the publication, the number of athletes and specialists who fled is 3.41 percent of all those who left Ukraine to represent the country at international competitions and training camps. The country’s Ministry of Sports threatens those who do not return within the established time frame with expulsion from the Ukrainian national team and deprivation of their titles.
