Dzagoev spoke about the conflict with CSKA over the contract

Alan Dzagoev said that he had a conflict with CSKA over the terms of the contract

Former CSKA player Alan Dzagoev spoke in an interview with Nobel Arustamyan’s YouTube channel about the conflict with the army team over the contract.

The footballer shared that he had disagreements with the team over the interpretation of the terms of the agreement. According to the midfielder, the salary depended on playing time. “The minutes were counting. I initially thought differently, but in fact the contract was meant differently. And then, of course, we had graters,” explained Dzagoev.

On November 21, Dzagoev announced his retirement. “I have had a lot of injuries over the past five years, which is why I made this decision so suddenly. I decided enough is enough,” he said. His last club was the Greek Lamia, where the player played two matches.

Dzagoev played for CSKA from 2008 to 2022. He played 397 matches for the Moscow team, in which he scored 77 goals and made 93 assists. As part of the army team, the midfielder became a three-time Russian champion, and also won four Russian Cups and three national Super Cups.
