Fans attacked the players who lost the match

The fans attacked the players of the Warsaw Legia after the defeat in the away match of the 18th round of the Polish championship against the Plock Vistula with a score of 0: 1. Interia reports.

After the game ended on December 12, fans followed the footballers and coaches as they rode the bus to the training base. There, fans broke into the bus and attacked the players.

According to the source, three football players were injured as a result of the incident. At the same time, the police arrived at the scene in Twitter has not confirmed the use of force against players.

It is also reported that after the loss, Legia’s mentor Marek Golembiewski said goodbye to the players in the locker room and announced his resignation. He can be replaced by 49-year-old Leszek Ozynski, who was present at the last matches of the team.

For Legia, this defeat was the third in a row. The team also lost to Moscow Spartak with a score of 0: 1 in the Europa League. After 16 matches played, the Warsaw club takes the last place in the standings of the Polish championship.
