Cuban Glur did not exchange T-shirts with Miranchuk due to lack of equipment
Cuban national team player Fabian Glur was unable to exchange shirts with Russian midfielder Anton Miranchuk after a friendly match. This was reported in the Telegram channel of the Russian national team.
Miranchuk approached Glur in the tribune room and proposed an exchange. In response, the Cuban apologized and explained to the Russian that he could not give away his T-shirt due to a lack of equipment. According to him, the team has only one set of uniforms. As a result, Miranchuk gave Glur his T-shirt and shook his hand.
On November 20, the Russian team defeated the Cuban national team in a friendly match. The meeting took place in Volgograd at the Volgograd Arena stadium and ended with a score of 8:0.
The Russian national team has not competed in international tournaments since February 2022 due to sanctions from the International Football Federation and the Union of European Football Associations.
