Inter Milan takes the lead of the Italian

Italy has a new leader. This Sunday, Inter Milan beat Cagliari in a match of the 17th round of the competition and assumed the leadership of the Italian Championship. Playing at home, the nerazurri team massacred the visitors and thrashed by 4-0.

In the 28th minute of the first half, Inter Milan opened the scoring. In a corner taken by Çalhanoglu, Lautaro Martínez appeared on the first pole and dodged to the back of the net.

At the end of the first stage, Dumfries went straight to the goal and tried to dribble past Alessio Cragno. The full-back was knocked down by the goalkeeper inside the area and the referee scored the penalty. On the kick, Cragno redeemed himself and defended the kick by Lautaro Martínez, ending the first half with a score of 1-0 for the home team.

Five minutes into the second half, Inter expanded. Barella received the ball on the goal line and raised a beautiful cross into the area, finding Alexis Sánchez. The Chilean hit first, with no chances for the goalkeeper, and scored the second for the home team.

The third goal was another great goal. In the 20th minute of the second half, Çalhanoglu hit the drawer from far away and scored his goal in the match.

Just two minutes later, Lautaro followed with the massacre. The striker received a beautiful shot from Barella and crashed out of Cragno, scoring Inter’s fourth goal.

With the result, Inter Milan takes the lead in the Italian Championship, with 40 points. Cagliari, in turn, remains in the penultimate position, with 10 points.
