On Sunday, the next matches of the 18th round are played. In the first of them, at 12:30 at the stadium at ul. Kałuży 1 in Krakow, the local Cracovia was hosted by Górnik Łęczna. Looking at the table, the home team should be the favorite of this match, but the visitors before this match were in a very good shape and recorded two wins in a row.
Coma is a hero of a miner. Kamil Kieres’ team won for the third time in a row
The beginning definitely belonged to the team of Kamil Kieres, which was definitely more specific and created more threats under the opponents’ goal. It resulted in a goal by Bartosz Śpiączka in the 24th minute. Cracovia, however, was unable to answer this and despite strenuous attempts, it did not find the way to the goal guarded by Maciej Gostomski.
On the other hand, Górnik did not intend to let go of the tone and before the break he finished off his rival again thanks to Bartosz Śpiączka, who became the hero of the game. It was the eighth goal this season for the 30-year-old. So for the break, both teams went down with the score 2: 0 for the visitors.

Shortly after the start of the second part of the game, the hosts started the attack and even scored a goal. Unfortunately for Krakow fans, Otar Kakabadze’s goal was canceled after the intervention of the VAR system, as he was found offside. Until the very end of the meeting, the players of Jacek Zieliński had a visible advantage, but it was for nothing and the meeting ended in a rather unexpected defeat.
Therefore, Górnik Łęczna triumphed for the third time in a row and left the relegation zone of the top league for at least a few hours. Cracovia, on the other hand, is still in the 11th position.
