Dmitry Bivol said that Arthur is the best opponent for him in the light heavyweight division
Russian boxer Dmitry Bivol spoke about a fight against Briton Lyndon Arthur in December 2023. His words are quoted by Queensberry Promotions on the social network X.
Bivol and Arthur will fight on December 23 during a boxing evening in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia).
“I want to thank Lyndon Arthur’s team for accepting this fight. At this moment, for today, I think this is the best opponent for me in the light heavyweight division,” said Bivol.
On June 28, Bivol stated that he was ready for any opponent from the top 10 light heavyweight division. He added that he would be happy to meet with American Jermall Charlo, who competes in the middle and first middle weight categories.
In his professional career, 32-year-old Bivol won 21 victories and did not suffer a single defeat. He holds the World Boxing Association (WBA) light heavyweight title. 32-year-old Arthur has 23 wins and one defeat.
