Orenburg footballer Vera said that there is no success in learning the Russian language
Argentine midfielder of Orenburg Lucas Vera spoke about the difficulties of learning the Russian language. His words are quoted by Sport24.
The foreign football player said that there are currently a number of problems with obtaining Russian citizenship, in particular with the Russian language exam. At the same time, he emphasized that he is not afraid to take the exam. “I learn Russian every day. But there is no success,” Vera noted.
On July 30, Vera explained his desire to obtain Russian citizenship. The footballer said that this would help him be in the Russian national team, as well as pay less taxes.
Vera has been playing for Orenburg since the summer of 2022. He never played for the Argentina national team. In 14 matches of the Russian Premier League of the 2023/2024 season, the Argentine scored one goal and registered two assists.
