Lokomotiv beat Akhmat with a score of 2:1 in the match of the 15th round of the RPL
Lokomotiv snatched victory from Akhmat in the match of the 15th round of the Russian Premier League (RPL). This was reported by a Lenta.ru correspondent.
The meeting took place in Moscow and ended with a score of 2:1 in favor of the hosts. The only goal for the visitors was scored by striker Mohamed Konate, who converted a penalty in the 66th minute. In the 79th minute, Maxim Glushenkov equalized the score, and in the 81st, Timur Suleymanov brought the railway workers ahead.
Thanks to the victory, Lokomotiv scored 24 points and moved up to fifth place in the standings. Akhmat remains one of the outsiders of the championship: the Grozny club is in 14th place with 12 points.
In the next round, on November 25, the capital club will play away against Samara “Wings of the Soviets”. A day later, Akhmat will meet Orenburg on the road.
