Coach Alexander Kerzhakov said that Serbia treats Russians well
The coach of Spartak from Subotica, Alexander Kerzhakov, spoke about the attitude towards Russians in Serbia. His words are quoted by TASS.
The specialist said that Russians are treated well in the country. “Neither I, nor my family, nor my friends encountered any problems. During my stay, nothing particularly surprises me,” he added. Kerzhakov emphasized that he is more focused on football and work.
Previously, Kerzhakov advised Russian football players to leave the Russian Premier League (RPL). He considered that this was absolutely correct for the development of players, citing the example of Alexander Golovin from Monaco.
Kerzhakov is a three-time Russian champion with Zenit. After retiring in 2017, he coached the Russian youth team, as well as the clubs Tom, Nizhny Novgorod and Cyprus Karmiotissa. Since June 2023, he has been heading Spartak from the Serbian Subotica.
