The Ecuador national team is again waiting for a double South American qualifying round, but this time its opponents will be Venezuela, on November 16, and Chile five days later.
In the absence of an official list, which Tricolor coach Félix Sánchez Bas did not know, Emelec confirmed that he will give the national team two of his players to prepare for the said matches.

Gilmar Napa and Tommy Chamba, the young promises of the electric club, will join La Tri training next Monday, after the Clásico del Astillero, against Barcelona SC.

As usual, some young footballers join the training sessions of the senior team in order to, in addition to helping in the implementation of the training, also add experience in thinking about the future inclusion in the senior team.
Napa, a 20-year-old goalkeeper, is 1.84 meters tall. The goalkeeper barely made a save in Bombillo’s first game, when he did so in the Copa Sudamericana against Danubio, but he has played more minutes in Orense and in the youth selections of Ecuador.

Then there’s Chamba, a 19-year-old attacking midfielder who functions as a substitute and catalyst in a team led by Hernán Torres. Both arrived from Orense at the beginning of the year and were also part of the under-20 team.
The first match of the Tricolor will be in Maturín, in the territory of Venezuela, on the 5th day of the qualification process, while the second will take place in Quito, the capital of Ecuador, on the 6th day of the competition. (D)
