Doctor Goryachev advised jogging in winter in open stadiums
Doctor and marathon runner Alexander Goryachev gave advice on choosing a place to run in winter. His words are quoted by Sport Express.
Goryachev said that the optimal place for winter jogging is an open stadium, since it uses a special coating that does not become hard at sub-zero temperatures. “I recommend running in the fresh, frosty air. It promotes physical and mental health,” he explained.
The specialist added that if there is no equipped stadium nearby, you can train on cleared asphalt. However, in this case, you need high-quality shoes with good shock absorption. When running on icy surfaces, you need trail shoes with a strong tread that bites into the ice and provides maximum stability.
