Euskaltel-Euskadi renews Maté, Azurmendi and Cuadrado, in addition to signing Iker Bonillo

He Euskaltel-Euskadi announced the renewals for the next season of Luis Angel Maté, Ibai Azurmendi and Unai Square and the signing of the young Valencian runner Iker Bonillowhich comes from the Italian Green Project-Bardiani.
With these four new features, the orange squad now has 16 cyclists confirmed for 2024.
In the transfer chapter, in addition to Bonillo, the Euskadi Foundation team had confirmed the additions of Jon Aberasturi (Lidl-Trek), Xavier Cañellas (Hiper Europa) and Víctor de la Parte (TotalEnergies); and also the promotions of the subsidiary, Laboral Kutxa, of Nicolás Alustiza, Iker Mintegi and Unai Zubeldia.

In the case of Maté, the Marbella runner will turn 40 next March and 2024 will be his 17th season as a professional. Bonillo, for his part, arrives at Euskaltel after two seasons as a professional in Italy and after being considered “one of the most outstanding Spanish youth players in 2021.”
